With the game having two factions, it should be no surprise that it will be following a World of Warcraft-like feel where players will be in this overarching competition with those from the opposing faction. As they fight each other for territory and dominion in these new and untamed lands, they are both threatened by the Dark Apostles, unknown and dangerous entities from another dimension. Or rather, the realm that is being fought for by two factions: the noble and idealistic Vulpin Council, and the individualistic and growth-driven Ontari Union. The game gets its name from the world it is set on: Elyon.

At the end of the day, the buyer must weigh whether he or she will go for something more affordable, or for a more competitive account. The higher or better these things are, the more likely it is for the account to have a higher price tag.

These factors determine the quality of an account, and along with it the price.

The name would be gone for good, which is unfortunate.Įventually it will happen, almost guaranteed, but I think they will let it be like this for a while.

Now think about the limit you suggested - 6 months - think about ESO's update schedule and do the math. More will return for a new zone when we finally get one, and keep up this leave-return pattern for major DLC/expansions. Lots of people returned when ESO went B2P. You don't know if they will never return. That would be massively unfair to returning players and I hope will never be done.īut not unfair to players who are actually playing the game and want to use a name that somebody who played for a month and then quit and will never return?

What about names of characters that are not deleted but exist on inactive accounts? Could a cut off be introduced to free up character names that exist on accounts that have been inactive for say, 6 months?

I have a question which is slightly off topic but still has relevance to the subject matter. If you wouldn't mind, could you PM me the character name? We'd be happy to confer with some folks and see if it is in use, or if there is some sort of issue with the previous character's deletion. Hey there become available immediately upon the deletion of a character, so you shouldn't need a to wait to recreate the character.
